SEMA Battle of The Builders Car 2018 | 1937 Hudson Terraplane

What is a Hudson Terraplane?

The Terraplane was a car brand and model built by the Hudson Motor Car Company of Detroit, Michigan, between 1932 and 1938. In its maiden year, the car was branded as the Essex-Terraplane; in 1934 the car became simply the Terraplane. They were inexpensive, yet powerful vehicles that were used in both town and country, as both cars and trucks bore the Terraplane name. The most memorable sales slogan of the Terraplane years came from 1933 when it was marketed as: "On the sea that's aquaplaning, in the air that's aeroplaning, but on the land, in the traffic, on the hills, hot diggity dog, THAT'S TERRAPLANING". This 1937 Hudson Terraplane was a great purchase by the owner. This is an example of starting with a great body.

1967 Ford Mustang - The Original Pony Car

Originally designed to rival the Chevrolet Corvair, the Ford Mustang quickly became one of the best-selling and most popular sports cars on the face of the Earth. The Mustang created the "pony car" class of American muscle cars, affordable sporty coupes with long hoods and short rear decks. The Mustang is the only original pony car to remain in uninterrupted production over five decades of development and revision due to it's popularity. No matter make or model, many restomod builds of today are based on Mustang II front suspension technology.

This 1967 Mustang is owned by Mr. Edlin, a retiree, who has been restoring his pride and joy for a number of years at home in hiss spare time. City Classic Cars received this 1967 Mustang in it's bare glory, completely dis-assembled, and ready for our team to bring this build to completion. We are honored to be part of the restoration journey of this magnificent pony car. Let's Get Started
